Anyone who listened to and/or called in to the show this morning -- if you can find ANY scripture in the Bible that explicitly says homosexuality is an "abomination", please post it.   I don't recall Jesus ever saying a word about homosexuality.  I do recall -- I think in Timothy -- "male prostitutes" being admonished by his disciples.  The Greek for "mal prostitute" was translated in the 50's as "homosexual" -- but (as with many words in the Bible), it is an incorrect translation. 

I usually enjoy your morning program.  This morning, however, I was utterly appalled at the comments from nearly everyone justifying their prejudice against homosexuals, and claiming their religiion as an excuse.  Substitute the word "slavery" or "black" or "woman" for the word "homosexual" and you can continue to use Christianity as an excuse to justify slavery, claim the inferority of groups of people, or women of all colors -or science for that matter!  People don't CHOOSE to be gay.  And it must not be such an "abomination" in the eyes of God or we wouldn't find examples of homosexual behavior in the animal kingdon.   It is estimated that one in ten people are gay.  Every caller today as well as the host and hostess of the show probably knows and/or is related to someone who is gay.   But evidently you love your prejudices more than you love your gay friends and family members.  Jesus was a peacemaker, not a fear monger.  Your show today was based on fear, ignorance and prejudice.   Go educate yourself on sexuality and lift yourself out of your prejudices.   Please keep your "flat earth" notions off the airwaves.
