The Denny Freeman Band stopped by the KNON studio on Thursday, November 19th to play live and chat with Blue Lisa on her Big Texas Blues show. Denny and his band are long time supporters of KNON and it's blues programming, having appeared on Blue Lisa's show several times, and also appearing at KNON benefits to raise money for the station.

Denny, Michael J. Dohoney on drums and Jim Milam on bass played several songs live in the studio, and then came up to the mics to talk about upcoming shows for the band.  Denny also shared some wonderful stories about his years living in Austin, including being there and part of the cherished blues scene that Clifford Antone created in the town when he opened Antone's in 1975.
